I hope that everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving! I for sure missed everyone and i sure ate for everyone that wasn't here as well :) Portugal does not celebrate Thanksgiving so we had a party here the day before with the ward and we made a pumpkin pie and so much more ya know the normal food.
We played pin the feather on the Turkey, had a good time with everyone in both wards. The day of, Sister Dixon and i went on an adventure run in the morning, had pancakes and cooked all morning long for the parties. Then worked and brought a lot of people to the activities. ate and just had so much fun. I will for sure send pics no worries!
Lets see this week really is to get to know EVERYONE! Thats super fun with an are bigger than than i have ever imagined, most of the time we are on busses or walking to our area. But its okay we have good talking time to people on the way, this city is the biggest for the college here so we have met the students from all around the world, good and bad because the normally don't stay. But we have been trying to go out to random areas and seeing whats in store!
This week we have really had some funny contacts that include people not speaking a lick of English or Portuguese so more on the using our hands and pointing to our church building haha. There was this guy from Turkey, ya he didn't speak i think. Then some other people from China and all over. Ya right now i really dont have so much to say about the area but with time more info will come no worries!
But i will send more pics instead! Love you all!
