Welp this week is gunna be pretty much short and sweet. It's crazy how fast time goes and how much my brain can handle!
It was just a normal week here in Vila Franca, working our butts off in the heat and just loving life, building relationships with each and everyone of the members and bringing more to church! I think that is one on the hardest things here is getting people to church...kinda like this week we had 10 new people marked pretty confidently for church and when sunday rolled around they all didn't show, answer their phones our their doors. It was the best! But you know what it definitely didn't not ruin my day, i have just learned to hate Agency hahaha. But i am still going to hold strong and get them to church.
Oh this week we had a really tough day actually, but i learned a lot. I have grown a huge testimony for how much the Lord has prepared his people for us to teach. We had taught these two lessons with new people whom we were stoked for. As we taught the first lesson she couldn't understand either of us and or understand some of the words, so we really had to go back and forth with the lesson. And same for the next person, he asked us to re explain everything and it was hard to take because it just pounded and pounded on us each time they would say the didn't understand. Well after the lesson we just beat ourselves up so bad about it. We made plans and back tracked the day to see where we could have been more obedient or didn't have the right mind set. After we made our new goals we got a text message from one of the investigators saying how grateful they were for what we taught, and if we wanted to talk the next day... My heavens you can say we were just so blessed in that moment. We looked at each other and just laughed because we think its us that changes a person or we do ALL the work...Thats a joke haha. The spirit spoke to him from what we testified of and he heard what he needed to hear. My goodness I realize just how prepared the Lords people are no matter what. Eu amo este obra!!!!!
For pday we went to Lisboa and just had the most relaxed day ever!! It was the best, I will send the pics now!
Love you all so much!!!!!!!
