Okay so this week was transfers and i am staying in Matosinhos with Sister Pereira! I am soo excited to stay in this area, i didn't really feel like it was my time to leave yet so, round 4 in Matos!
So a small but big re~cap on last week is that General Conference was absolutely awesome! I got to watch it in Portuguese and English so it was a long 2 days for me haha but it was amazing to see the 3 new Apostles get called and to hear them during conference. I would talk about my favorite talks but really they were all fantastic. But a big shout out to all the women! We are all doing a great job in life and need to work until our full potential! Love all the examples of women in my family that have helped me be who i am, especially my mama (<3)
So this week has been really really good! This Sunday we had our amazing family come to church all TOGETHER! They loved coming to church and to feel the love of all the members and other missionaries. Another thing that happened on Sunday was that U., (another investigator) for the Elders area but (she likes me better). I was sitting next to her during church and I wanted to bear my testimony but I wasn't going up alone. I looked at her and I asked her "Unise are you ready to go up with me?" and she said "What?!?" and then I told her that I wasn't going up alone and that I needed her help. She finally said "Okay, just let me breathe first.." hahaha finally we went up together and she bore her strong testimony and let me remind you that she isn't baptized yet. The ward just loved her afterwards and gave her warm and welcoming hugs. She felt on top of the world. I am hoping that she gets baptized soon! I am just so happy that she has felt the love of the Savior in her life.
Another baptism that we have coming up would be the son of Ildo (Marildo)! And also This cute little old lady named Delfina. She has come with us to conference and church every Sunday! She is a trooper walking every time with us. She has some problems with her legs but she's great and she endures to the end!
We also have been knocking doors like crazy Sisters and we have been finding a lot of newer people to teach! Another great way that we have been finding new people is through English class. We have so much fun and this guy from Brazil is name is Wallse he is really loving english class. He already met the missionaries once in California and now he is here. Hopefully he will want to progress and come to church. He is Evangelical and he is now starting to do his family searching, so he stays for our activities afterwards and its great!
~Okay some funny thangs that happened this week were that I killed a chicken and we ate it for lunch don't worry i will send pics soon! There are a lot of farms over here so ya know anything could happen like that haha.
~For morning exercises I finally got to run on the beach and so i will be doing that everyday! And i also used Sister Pereira for weights and did lunges with her on my back haha.
~We visited one of our member's in the hospital and she showed us her two toes that fell off. Didnt expect that one haha.
But yes! That was my fantastic week, hope everyone's was as good as mine! Love you all!
