Well knowing me, i have the best of luck in this mission right now... I got the Flu and am just loving life!
So that means there was a lot of resting and a lot of time practicing talking to people on the phone while i have an ice pack on my head and bucket by my bed haha.
So yes this week has not been much because of this, but other things did happen, when we had the older couple (Brodericks) come teach with us i was feeling under the weather and when we had just finished up a lesson in the garden, i felt this shooting pain on my neck. All of sudden i grabbed my back and what do you know a WASP. My heck those things hurt so bad haha. All of a sudden i just started laughing because it hurt so bad and then was worried because i am allergic. But all is well i treated it and wasps just bit so it wasent that bad! Just a pretty big bump for a couple days. Glad the brodericks were there to help me out, they´re the best!
Oh sad thing but Lopes had a stroke and has been in the Hospital and it was really fun going and seeing that he is recovering well. He just loves when we go and visit him, the hospitals are actually really nice here and they treat you like you´re the most important person on earth haha. But ya he is doing better now!
I guess i will just talk about the people here in Vila Franca, This is my last week here (maybe) and i have been out for about 4 months now... what in the world?? I feel like i've been out for about a week or so haha. But anyways, i love this branch and i love this second family of mine. Really my heart is filled with their love. I caught myself daydreaming in a lesson with a member, don't worry it was just small talk, and i was thinking of how much i loved this family and have seen them grow so much. She told me i was like a daughter to her and thanked me for everything. Her hugs are literally the best ever, she basically hugs you till you run of of breath, then gives you a billion kisses on the cheeks. I realized also, that your relationship with people are key. Its fun to see them grow from the first time i got here until now and them telling me how they don't want me to leave. Heck, they even tell me they can understand my portuguese now haha, i am glad i finally make sense now :) I will tell you about another girl in this branch, her name is A.M. I taught her a little in my 1st transfer and she was super inactive, and never came to church. But this transfer she is back every sunday and now even comes to our activities. She is so special to me, her testimony is amazing and her love and service for the people make me want to be 10x better. She is actually making us an AMERICAN dish this week. I cant wait! I can go on and on about the people here, but the ward is stronger and just amazing!
Also shout outs with birthdays this week!!!!! Shelbieeeeeee happy birthday sunshine! You´re 12 how sweet! And i know there are a tons more this month so ill catch the other ones this next week! Shouts outs to Ataya Bustillos and Emily Baker for getting called to serve the Lord!! You 2 will be amazing and meet the most wonderful people in the world on your missions. GO Las Flores Ward!!
