Welp to be honest this week was just pretty normal, talking to the whole world and seeing the small and simple things.
I have realized how the small and simple things make me the happiest ever in missionary work, the past weeks we've had baptisms and soooo many progressing investigators. And now we are really kinda coming down. And thats not a bad thing! It has made me want to work even harder, but we have also seen how much our less-active member's are progressing, our recent converts growing and going to the temple to do baptisms and one wanting to serve a mission. My joy is complete right there!
I was reading in the Book of Mormon in Alma 18, this story is about how Amon was doing missionary work in his city and King Lamoni was just persecuting him like crazy. This is kinda like how we are wanting to teach so bad these people but they reject and reject and reject. But after Amon changed how he taught, when he knew he needed to SERVE others, that is when things starting changing as well. Then long story, short is the king respected Amon and then started to Listen and soften his heart. What a sweet example for us, say these people don't want to hear our messages the first time?...we can just continue to serve them. It just another way for them to see that we really do love them and that this message is so important.
Another cool thing that i mentioned in the beginning is that yes our recent convert went to the Temple in Spain (we had a ward trip) and she did baptisms, i am so happy that she went, she ran up to us during church and had to tell us all about it. And also sweet news is that we are now talking to "C". our other recent converts FAMILY! Her family is extremely Catholic but i have high hopes. Her mom invites us over all the time and just loves us to death. Things are looking up!! Whether or not she accepts the teachings is one thing..but we love her just as much as she loves us!
Other news, its raining like cats and dogs...Pics will also follow this letter!!
